Just wanted to welcome you all to the new forums here at Grifball.net! It's a work in progress, I would have preferred to polish things off a bit more before opening them to the public, but the old system just had to go.

Please, if you run across any errors, things that don't look right, or something you just don't like, let us know and we'll try to fix it up right away!

I should also mention that your profile is even more fragmented now:

Teams will now be able to create a Team Profile. Teams which have already played in a previous event or season for the NGA can already do this - newly registering teams for this season will have to wait until tomorrow.

Here's an example: Clutch Betrayal

Previously registered team Captains can go to the Team List and click Edit next to their team in the list. You'll be taken to a form where you can change your team name, location and description. You can also specify a URL to a team logo, and a URL to your team thread in the forums. And you can also control whether other captains on your team will have the ability to edit your team's roster.

- Your team's location can be anything you want - but we suggest putting the general area(s) your players are from.

- Your team description can use any standard BBCode you'd like (don't overuse large text, bold or colors though - or we may have to remove the BBCode support).

- The team logo must be hosted somewhere else on the internet - if you need help with this, just PM shadowxtc, attach your team logo, and we'll take care of it.

- The team thread URL can point to anywhere you'd like to send people who are interested in finding out more about your team, but we suggest that you create a thread in our forums.

- If you enable other captains on your team to edit your team's roster, they will only be able to make changes in events or seasons where they are marked as a captain, and the system will make sure they abide by our various rules (eg: maximum of 8 players, no changes after roster lock, one team per player).

There's still a few things to be finished and cleaned up, we'll get to that as soon as possible!

- Team List is now formatted a little nicer.
- Dropdown List of Teams on Team Profile page now lists all team names from every event.
- Viewing an Event Team now shows the team roster as Halo 4 Spartan models (when logged into Live account eg: xbox.com, halowaypoint.com, hotmail.com).
- Cleaned up viewing a Team's page for an event a little bit - more to come.
- Chatbox can now be moderated by admins.
- Fixed up homepage/overall site design a LOT. (Thanks DOCT0R CHAOS!)
- Lots of useful new forum threads.
- Substantial testing and analysis of various combinations of gametype options.
- Preliminary support for Halo 4 stats
- Fixed up the Game Submission form with H4 gametypes and support for new waypoint links
- Further tightened up chatbox timings - should no longer show duplicates or stop responding.
- Chatbox error messages made less annoying too.
- URLs in the chatbox will automatically appear as hyperlinks now.
- Login page overhauled completely.
- Back-end support for Halo 4 stats complete.
- More search engine optimization.
- Tons of bug fixes :x.
- Added new user class - Ambassasdor.
- HaloCommunity added as a new affiliate!
- Halo 4 stats support fully functional, most games have been processed.

- Edit Player Registration: Admins can now add players directly to teams in an event or create new ones.
- View Event: List of teams now shows Final Standing vs. Regular Season Standing/Seed, sorted by Final Standing after an event is completed.
- List Events (Main Stats Page): Past events only show the name now - click them to show details and a link to the stats for that event.
- Mr. Forfeit Win and Mr. Forfeit Loss have been excluded from leaderboards and totals.
- Registered members can now view the history from the League Notifications on the Stats page.

- Players Leaderboards now displays only 20 records per page.
- All Time Players Leaderboard can now be filtered by regular/playoff/combined as well as by event.
- Fixed an issue causing incorrect game counts to be shown on the Players Leaderboards.
- Player Awards are now also displayed on your Website User Profile page but not yet on Forum profile.
- Updated Team Registrations and Game Submissions lists to the new style.

- You can now send private messages in the chatbox, just use /msg someUser your message here or /msg "username with spaces" your message here. You can always ask for /help too.
- Added an @Grifballnet Twitter feed that also searches for any hits for the word Grifball to the homepage!
